Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Midas Melanthios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevor Knottehad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trevor Knottehad will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knottehad misses with a low kick.
Melanthios doesn't manage to clinch there - Knottehad circles away.
Knottehad connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Melanthios's hands.

It looks like Midas Melanthios has been cut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd cheers as Knottehad lands an impressive looking overhand right. Melanthios doesn't seem phased though.

Knottehad is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Melanthios looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Knottehad is defending well. Melanthios quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Knottehad has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Melanthios celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
