The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sharp is looking to score with low kicks.
OderTopp moves to clinch but Sharp breaks away
and Sharp counters with a solid body kick.
Sharp walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. OderTopp checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Sloppy strikes from Sharp. Those never looked like landing.
OderTopp keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
OderTopp tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Sharp swinging wildly here.
OderTopp shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sharp pinned against the cage. Sharp gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
OderTopp is breathing heavily.
Sharp throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
OderTopp takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Sharp lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
OderTopp takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
OderTopp showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Sharp.
Sharp dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on OderTopp. That did some damage!

Sharp lands a head kick. OderTopp smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Sharp throws a right and a left that OderTopp avoids nicely.

Sharp dips to his left and cracks OderTopp with an uppercut!
Sharp throws a combination. OderTopp tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
A combination from Sharp does no damage.

Sharp swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sharp misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from OderTopp.
Sharp misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Sharp moves into the clinch.

OderTopp is fighting off a takedown attempt but Sharp is just too persistent for him and manages to trip OderTopp to the mat. OderTopp regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Sharp missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Sharp passes OderTopp's left leg - he's now in half guard.
OderTopp on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Sharp is sneakily working for an arm triangle but OderTopp sees it coming and defends easily.

Sharp's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sharp connects with a nice short shot to OderTopp's temple.
Sharp looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Sharp passes to full mount!

Sharp is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, OderTopp has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sharp lands a big shot there that rocks OderTopp but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Sharp wants to finish this one by submission but OderTopp is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Sharp.
