The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin tries to clinch there but Amok circles away.
Griffin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Amok shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Griffin is looking to stand up but Amok isn't so interested in that idea.
Amok passes into half guard.
Griffin tries to kick Amok off but Amok keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Amok lands a nice short elbow.

Griffin is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Amok has latched onto it... Big trouble! Amok pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Griffin is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Amok!
