Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Reynald Mercier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Murder Warmaster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Warmaster comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dead body disposal- by NECRO kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Reynald Mercier has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Reynald Mercier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Murder Warmaster!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mercier misses with a body shot.
Warmaster swats away the attempt to clinch by Mercier.
Nice straight punches there by Warmaster. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Warmaster.
Warmaster looks to score with a jab to the body but Mercier is just out of range.
Warmaster lands the left hand.
Mercier is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Warmaster.
Mercier misses with a double jab.
Warmaster swings for the body but Mercier moves out of range.
Warmaster lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Mercier throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Murder Warmaster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Warmaster throws a body punch but Mercier moves out of range.
Warmaster circles away from the clinch attempt.

Warmaster shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Warmaster showed some decent athleticism there.

Warmaster decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Warmaster tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mercier was well out of range. Poor timing from Warmaster.

Warmaster lands with a right hand.
Sloppy strikes from Warmaster. Those never looked like landing.
Mercier connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mercier tries to close the distance and clinch but Warmaster swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mercier moves away from the strike by Warmaster.
Mercier is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Warmaster.
Mercier swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

and Mercier counters with a nice uppercut.


It looks like Murder Warmaster has been cut.

Warmaster looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Warmaster drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Warmaster jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Warmaster drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Mercier manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Warmaster has Mercier in his guard.

Warmaster avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Warmaster keeping moving, preventing Mercier from controlling successfully.
Mercier has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Mercier wants to pass the guard but Warmaster is keeping the position.
Warmaster is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Warmaster tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Warmaster keeping moving, preventing Mercier from controlling successfully.

Warmaster uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Mercier controls Warmaster momentarily but Warmaster frees himself.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Mercier looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Warmaster is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Mercier doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Warmaster.

Warmaster is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Mercier is looking to clinch but Warmaster is avoiding it.
Warmaster throws a big shot that misses.
Warmaster jabs at Mercier's body.
Mercier takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Mercier fails to land with a series of punches.
Mercier throws a hook but Warmaster blocks it.
Warmaster fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mercier tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Warmaster manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Warmaster feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Warmaster got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mercier has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Warmaster has managed to get both his arms back between Mercier's legs - danger averted.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Warmaster throws a nice looking combination but Mercier bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Warmaster throws a looping overhand right but Mercier ducks down to avoid it.
Mercier tries to clinch but Warmaster moves out of range.
Murder Warmaster seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Mercier lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Warmaster circles away quickly and effectively.
Warmaster lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Warmaster is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Mercier is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Mercier has escaped and now he's on top!

Warmaster throws the left hand but Mercier avoids the punch easily.

Warmaster is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Mercier knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Mercier is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Warmaster off and has taken his back!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Mercier has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Warmaster has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Warmaster turns into Mercier and is now in his guard.

A close second round but Murder Warmaster will probably get the nod - 10:9.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!


Warmaster fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mercier manages to avoid it.

Mercier throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mercier throws a wild body kick that Warmaster sees coming a mile off.
Warmaster takes a swing at Mercier's ribcage but misses.

Mercier is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Warmaster pulls his head out easily.

Warmaster is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mercier is just riding it out for now. Warmaster eventually gives up the hold.
Warmaster is looking to take a break and control but Mercier is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Mercier is looking for a sweep. Warmaster is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Murder Warmaster comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Warmaster has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
