Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edilson Rubiera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobrisio Herdum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rubiera comes to the cage accompanied by ratamahatta. Herdum has chosen Motorhead - Built for Speed as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herdum misses with a head kick.
Herdum tries to clinch but Rubiera moves out of range.
Rubiera throws out a loose jab but Herdum uses good head movement to avoid it.
Rubiera closes the distance and clinches up with Herdum, looking for a takedown. Rubiera pushes Herdum against the cage but Herdum circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Herdum throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rubiera is defended easily by Herdum.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Herdum enables Rubiera to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Herdum manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
