PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donnie Darko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krammer Hussein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darko comes to the cage accompanied by Let the Bodies hit the floor. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Donnie Darko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Krammer Hussein!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Darko gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Hussein wants to control from the top but Darko keeps moving.
Hussein stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Darko swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Darko lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hussein!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Darko trying to control but Hussein is having none of it.

Darko has hold of Hussein's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Hussein manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
A nice elbow there by Darko.
Hussein tries to hold on but Darko postures up.
Darko looking to control but Hussein is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hussein tries to reverse the position but Darko maintains control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hussein is trying to reverse the position but instead Darko has taken his back - oops!
Darko will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Hussein tries to escape but Darko has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Darko is looking for the choke from the back position but Hussein is controlling his hands well.

Darko is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Hussein has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Darko has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Hussein taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Darko doesn't care though - he's delighted!
