The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller shoots in looking for a takedown. Singletary tries to sprawl out of it but Miller keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Singletary manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Miller is defended easily by Singletary.

Singletary bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Miller is not content to let Singletary control the position.

Singletary decides to stand up, so the ref orders Miller to his feet.
Singletary throws a head kick that misses.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Miller is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Miller sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Singletary's guard.

Miller has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Singletary defend it? Miller steps over the head and cranks it - Singletary is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Miller!
