Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Doug Hiu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kobe Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Wayne- Right above it kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Doug Hiu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Johnson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hiu blocks a low kick nicely.
Hiu looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Johnson is fending him off so far but Hiu persists. Nope, Johnson circles away and we're back to standing.
Johnson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hiu's head backwards.

Hiu turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Hiu manages to end up in side control.
Hiu remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Hiu is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Hiu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johnson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hiu got a little sloppy there for a moment and Johnson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hiu has managed to get both his arms back between Johnson's legs - danger averted.

That was a close second round but I would say that Doug Hiu will probably get the nod.

Oh but Johnson is tightening it up a little... Hiu has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Hiu reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Hiu taps out! Nice BJJ there by Johnson!
