Fajardo has chosen Perry Mason as his entrance music. Jake Sheilds had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Jake Sheilds has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sheilds doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Fajardo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Sheilds shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fajardo but Fajardo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
