The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Monster pivots, looking for a leg kick but Cat is out of range and Monster settles back down.

Monster tries to break free but Cat pushes him back against the cage.

Monster wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Cat has him pressed against the cage.

Monster's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Cat throws an overhand right that lands on Monster's shoulder, as Monster tries to avoid the shot.
Cat cracks the inside of Monster's front leg.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Monster slips a straight right by Cat.
Monster gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Cat.
Monster lands a really nice looking cross but Cat seems unphased.
Cat misses with a hook. Monster ducked under it nicely.
Cat throws a series of punches but Monster avoids them all with ease.
Cat lands a jab to the nose.
Monster shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Cat eats them both and turns towards Monster to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Cat loads up on a big right hand but Monster slips the punch.

Cat fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Monster, pushing him back against the cage.
Monster looking to stall.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Cat tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Monster creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Cat lands a shoulder strike.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Cookie Monster will probably get the nod.

That's time! Cat's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

and Cat counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
