Penitent Man comes to the cage accompanied by The Penitent Man Kneels Before God. Lucky Charms has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penitent Man lands with a nice combination. Charms backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Lucky Charms has been cut.
Charms tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Penitent Man counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Penitent Man connects with a body shot.
Penitent Man misses with a looping left.
Charms looks to land a combination but Penitent Man avoids it well.
Penitent Man connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Charms on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Charms shoots in for a double leg but Penitent Man sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Penitent Man slaps away a takedown attempt from Charms, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Penitent Man lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Penitent Man lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Charms is looking to clinch but Penitent Man is avoiding it.
Penitent Man lands a slapping body shot.
Charms gets cracked there but stands up to it.

That has opened up Lucky Charms's cut even more.

and Charms counters with a head kick. That will keep Penitent Man thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Penitent Man ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Penitent Man's corner calls for a 1-2. Penitent Man obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Penitent Man lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Penitent Man lands a nice hook to Charms's body. Charms takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Charms takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Lucky Charms's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Penitent Man could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Penitent Man lands a jab to Charms's midsection.
Penitent Man uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Lucky Charms's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
