Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hank Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hannibal Soze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taylor's entrance music is Blame Canada. A fine choice. Soze has chosen Outside - To Forgive but not Forget as his entrance music. Hank Taylor has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hank Taylor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hannibal Soze!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor throws out a leg kick but Soze moves out of range and Taylor only half commits.
Soze thows a left - swing and a miss!
Taylor misses with the combination.
Soze ducks under a wild hook from Taylor.
Soze dodges the punch combination from Taylor.
Taylor will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Taylor thumps Soze with a low kick.
Taylor lands a right hook to the body.
Taylor throws a right hand that Soze ducks under and follows up with a left that Soze also avoids with ease.
Soze misses with a looping left.
Taylor buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice takedown defense from Taylor. No joy for Soze on that attempt.

Taylor lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Soze circles away quickly and effectively.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Soze is nestled in close to Taylor, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Soze wants to take a breather but Taylor is having none of it.
Taylor moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Soze cracks Taylor with a solid left hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Soze loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Taylor is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Soze trying to control the position from guard on top but Taylor is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Soze slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Taylor misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Soze closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Soze throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Taylor is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Soze's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Soze's back!

Taylor is keen to just control but Soze is a slippery customer.
Soze is concentrating on defense, preventing Taylor from advancing position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Taylor is trying to control. Soze wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Soze manages to get to full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Soze has control of Taylor's left arm, preventing Taylor from doing any damage.
Taylor wants to control from the top but Soze keeps moving.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Hank Taylor wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Taylor tries to bum rush Soze with a series of wild strikes but Soze uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Hannibal Soze will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Taylor!
It looks like Hannibal Soze has been cut.
Taylor throws a looping overhand right but Soze ducks down to avoid it.
Soze keeps the fight on the outside.
Taylor fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Taylor doesn't manage to clinch there - Soze circles away.
Soze throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Taylor sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Taylor moves forwards but Soze connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Taylor lands a big head kick that sends Soze tumbling to the mat! Taylor takes a step backwards and waves Soze back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Soze is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Taylor ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Soze's jaw. Soze's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Taylor does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hank Taylor!
