Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Blanka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Jonners (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blanka looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jonners tries to clinch but Blanka moves out of range.
Blanka takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Blanka keeps the fight on the outside.
Jonners is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Jonners stuffs the takedown attempt from Blanka. Blanka gets slowly back to his feet.
Jonners pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Blanka tries for a takedown but Jonners sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Blanka feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Blanka looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Jonners is trying to control but can't.

Blanka wants to free his trapped foot but Jonners is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Jonners is trying to escape back to his feet but Blanka uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Horrible takedown by Blanka or perhaps it was just good defense by Jonners which made him look bad.
Blanka changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jonners tries to avoid it but Blanka manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jonners to the ground. Jonners escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Blanka shoots for a takedown but Jonners saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
