The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryan throws a right and a left that Papadopoulos avoids nicely.
Ryan shoots in for a double leg but Papadopoulos sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Papadopoulos fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ryan to the ground. Papadopoulos is now in Ryan's guard.

Papadopoulos is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Ryan has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Papadopoulos doesn't defend quickly enough and Ryan has managed to lock this one up! Can Papadopoulos escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Ryan on a fantastic submission victory.
