Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mark Flintstone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinnie Sinistra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vinnie Sinistra is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vinnie Sinistra!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Joseph Jones and Bruno Lombardi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flintstone looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sinistra is fending him off so far but Flintstone persists. Nope, Sinistra circles away and we're back to standing.

Flintstone drives through and clinches with Sinistra against the cage.

Flintstone breaks the clinch.
Flintstone really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Flintstone shoots in looking for a takedown. Sinistra tries to sprawl out of it but Flintstone keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sinistra manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sinistra stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sinistra wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Flintstone. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Flintstone tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sinistra sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Flintstone somewhat.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Flintstone.
Nice sprawl there from Flintstone as Sinistra shoots in.

Flintstone misses with a head kick.
Flintstone delivers a nice body kick.
Sinistra gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Flintstone counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Flintstone.

Flintstone escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sinistra.
The fight stays on the outside here - Flintstone looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Flintstone decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sinistra's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Flintstone controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sinistra looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Flintstone is defending well. Sinistra quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Flintstone has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Sinistra celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Vinnie Sinistra decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
