Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Olli Pommi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Finley Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Finley Shamrock acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters circling a little - Pommi finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Shamrock wants to clinch

and Pommi counters with a head kick that drops Shamrock to the mat! Shamrock scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Shamrock is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Pommi has closed the distance and engaged Shamrock in a clinch.
Pommi lands a nice knee to the body.
Pommi is pushing Shamrock up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Pommi seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

Pommi manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Pommi pushes Shamrock off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Pommi throws a leg kick which misses Shamrock's front leg but catches the back leg as Shamrock tries to avoid it.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Pommi lands a big head kick that sends Shamrock tumbling to the mat! Pommi takes a step backwards and waves Shamrock back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Finley Shamrock has been cut.
Shamrock looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Pommi counters with a head kick that drops Shamrock to the mat! Shamrock scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Shamrock drops his hands for a split second and Pommi immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Shamrock face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Pommi follows up with a right hand that knocks Shamrock into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Olli Pommi!
