The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waldez is looking to land body kicks.
Waldez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Waldez misses with a low kick.
Waldez pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Waldez is looking to clinch but Dundee is avoiding it.
Good leg kick by Waldez there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Waldez throws a sloppy head kick and Dundee moves out of range easily.

Dundee shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Waldez napping and manages to drive through into side control!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Dundee lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Dundee cracks Waldez with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Dundee is chipping away with strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dundee cracks Waldez with a big right hand but Waldez just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

A big shot lands for Dundee! That's hurt Waldez! Will he recover? Dundee fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
