Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Scott Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seany Scholes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scholes has chosen Wonderwall - Oasis as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Seany Scholes has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Scott Lewis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Seany Scholes!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Scholes drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Lewis is looking to regain half guard here but Scholes keeps moving and retains side control.
Scholes trying to control the position but Lewis is working away.

Scholes tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Scholes trying to control the position but Lewis is working away.
Lewis manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Scholes is trying to work for a kimura but Lewis is defending well.
Scholes is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Scholes thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lewis keeping moving, preventing Scholes from controlling successfully.
Lewis has control of Scholes's left arm, preventing Scholes from doing any damage.

Scholes drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lewis looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lewis looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lewis!

Lewis working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Lewis landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Lewis throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Lewis trying to control the position but Scholes is working away.
Scholes dodges the ground and pound from Lewis.
Scholes can't do much from the bottom here.

Lewis tries for a kimura but Scholes is defending well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lewis wants to control but Scholes is keeping him busy.
Lewis throws a strike aimed at the side of Scholes's head but Scholes avoids it well.
Scholes can't do much from the bottom here.
Lewis looks up at the clock and then as Scholes takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Lewis smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The strikes coming from Lewis are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Lewis thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Lewis tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Scholes is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Scholes regains half guard, as Lewis was trying to land strikes.

Scholes is defending against the submission attempts here by Lewis.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Lewis seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Scholes has recovered full guard.
Lewis trying to control but Scholes is working from the bottom.
Lewis keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Scholes's head.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lewis passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Scholes gets back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Scott Lewis dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Scholes shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Lewis trying to hold on to Scholes's head to control him but Scholes postures up.
Lewis is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Scholes is working for a submission of some sort.
Lewis is positioning himself well to prevent Scholes advancing to mount.
Lewis is looking for a sweep. Scholes is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Scholes is looking to advance position but Lewis won't allow it.
Lewis wants to get back to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Scholes wants to work for an arm triangle but Lewis is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Lewis keeping control of the position.

Scholes is working for a kimura but Lewis is defending it quite comfortably.

Scholes is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lewis defends it well.
Lewis is looking for a sweep. Scholes is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lewis is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Scholes's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Scholes's back!
Scholes is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Lewis has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Scholes is defending well but eventually Lewis manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Scholes has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
