The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Segura tries to clinch but Pierre Saint moves out of range.
Pierre Saint takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
A head kick by Pierre Saint misses
and Segura counters with a straight right hand.
Pierre Saint tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Segura swivels and escapes.
Pierre Saint shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Segura but Segura pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Pierre Saint shoots for a double leg takedown but Segura sprawls well. He's pushed Pierre Saint's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcus Pierre Saint. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pierre Saint shoots in for a takedown but Segura shows good takedown defense.
Segura is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Segura throws a nice head kick!

It looks like Marcus Pierre Saint has been cut.
Segura fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Pierre Saint.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Segura tries to clinch but Pierre Saint is having none of it.
Segura lands a nice looking body shot.
Pierre Saint is breathing heavily.
Segura tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pierre Saint swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Pierre Saint avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Segura! Pierre Saint is out on his feet! Segura rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Pierre Saint is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Pierre Saint is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
