Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Mies looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
McDutch shoots in and drives through. Mies sprawls well.
Mies gets a clinch.
Mies avoiding damage as McDutch throws knees to the body.
McDutch is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Mies unloads a knee to the mid-section. McDutch lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Mies prevents a takedown attempt there.
Mies breaks the clinch.
Sloppy strikes from Mies. Those never looked like landing.
Test McDutch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McDutch with a lazy takedown attempt
and Mies counters with a three punch combo that has McDutch backing up. McDutch nods at Mies to acknowledge the strikes.
Pieni Mies has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Test McDutch.

McDutch pulls out of a head kick attempt.
McDutch avoids a punch combination nicely.
McDutch should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
McDutch looks for a takedown but Mies sprawls well.

McDutch shoots in looking for a takedown but Mies manages to keep the fight standing, pushing McDutch's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
McDutch stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Mies.
McDutch swats away the attempt to clinch by Mies.

Mies waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract McDutch.
McDutch throws a shot from downtown. Mies moves away and avoids it.
Mies tries to bum rush McDutch with a series of wild strikes but McDutch uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
McDutch shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Mies counters with a straight right hand.
McDutch swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Mies counters with a one-two to the body.
A right-left combo lands from Mies.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mies lands with an overhand left.
McDutch misses with a takedown
letting Mies counter with a right hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
A head kick misses from McDutch.

and Mies counters with a series of strikes. McDutch will be more careful next time no doubt.

and McDutch counters with a lovely straight right hand!
McDutch is still on wobbly legs! Can Mies finish him?
Mies gets a double leg takedown into McDutch's guard.
Mies loads up on a big left hand. McDutch felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Mies looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! McDutch can't hide his disappointment, as Mies celebrates the victory.
