Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Canyon Mikel Scott King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arni Olofson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is It's a fight!!!. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Josh West.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olofson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Olofson thows a body shot but no joy.
Olofson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between King's hands.
Olofson takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

It looks like Arni Olofson has been cut.

and King counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
King ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Olofson enables King to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Olofson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

King fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Olofson is out of range.

Olofson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but King manages to avoid it.
King takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
King tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Olofson is able to avoid easily.
Olofson is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

King takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Arni Olofson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Olofson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
King drops his hands momentarily and Olofson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

King's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Olofson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! King scrambles back to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
