The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kemppainen scores a takedown into full mount!
Nothing bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Nothing thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Kemppainen throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Nothing wants to control from the top but Kemppainen keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nothing pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kemppainen is keeping the position for now.
Nothing sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kemppainen's guard.
Kemppainen is breathing heavily.

Kemppainen wants to improve his position but Nothing is controlling well.
Nothing working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Kemppainen is staying active underneath Nothing, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Nothing seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kemppainen does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Nothing is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kemppainen defends it well.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Kemppainen is staying active underneath Nothing, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Kemppainen is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Nothing's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Nothing's back!
Nothing manages to reverse the position and now he's in Kemppainen's guard. Nice work there by Nothing.

Nothing has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Kemppainen is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Nothing yanks on the arm and Kemppainen is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Nothing.
