Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edgar Hoover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erwin Hartmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoover comes to the cage accompanied by March of the Templars . Hartmann has chosen LL Cool J - Mama Said Knock You Out as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hartmann tries to get the hooks in deep but Hoover pushed the leg off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Hoover has taken the fight to the clinch.
Hartmann has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Hoover drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hoover is trying to drag Hartmann to the mat but Hartmann just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Hartmann creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Hoover has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hartmann avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Edgar Hoover. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hartmann is trying to push Hoover away but Hoover has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Hartmann is pressed up against the cage. Hoover has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hartmann down to the mat. Hartmann avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Hoover has Hartmann up against the cage in a clinch.
Hoover goes for a takedown attempt but Hartmann pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
A slapping leg kick lands for Hartmann.
Hartmann lands a head kick. Hoover smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Hoover shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hartmann as he avoids it easily.

Hartmann jabs Hoover to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Hoover keeps the fight on the outside.

Hoover forces Hartmann back against the cage and clinches.
A nice left hand lands by Hartmann.

Hoover gets control of Hartmann's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hoover will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
