Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bat Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clay Guida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Man gets tackled into the cage by Guida. Guida maintains the clinch.

Guida lands a takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Guida controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Man working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Guida has passed into half guard!

Man gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Guida moves into the clinch.

Clay Guida seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A slow jab from Man misses its intended target.
Guida keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Man shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Guida counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Man!
Guida lands a big elbow.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Guida pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
