Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Bunoyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harrison kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is DMX - Joe Harrison Song. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harrison jabs Bunoyan to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Harrison lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bunoyan at a distance.
Harrison looks to land a combination. Bunoyan sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like George Bunoyan has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
No joy there for Harrison, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Bunoyan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Harrison looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Harrison tries to improve position but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bunoyan is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Harrison has escaped the position, nice work there.
Harrison is trying to strike from the bottom but Bunoyan has passed into full mount.
Harrison wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Harrison biding his time here by controlling the hands, looking to escape.

Bunoyan is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Harrison rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Harrison is trying to maintain the position but Bunoyan is very close to passing his half guard.
Harrison is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Bunoyan stops Harrison from getting back to his feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Joe Harrison wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Nice takedown defense from Harrison. No joy for Bunoyan on that attempt.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Harrison lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Harrison.

That has opened up George Bunoyan's cut even more.
Harrison feints a jab promting Bunoyan to slip. Harrison then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bunoyan slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Bunoyan looks gassed!
Bunoyan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bunoyan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Harrison circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Bunoyan to the canvas! Bunoyan doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Harrison keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Harrison!
A very excited looking Joe Harrison rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
