Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Thizin Pais (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Urijah Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Thizin Pais has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Thizin Pais seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thizin Pais!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Urijah Faber!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Emerson Jorge and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faber shoots in for a takedown but Pais shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Pais cracks Faber with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Pais lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Pais ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Faber throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pais's waist but Pais gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Faber off to one side.
Pais scores with a nice strike.
Faber is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pais cracks Faber with a left hook right on the temple and Faber goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Pais lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Faber is OK!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Thizin Pais!
