PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rob Zombie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gray Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown has chosen Kiss my Irish Arse as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown moves in looking to clinch but Zombie pushes him off.
Zombie will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rob Zombie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Zombie has managed to clinch.
Zombie prevents Brown from breaking the clinch.
Brown tries to break free but Zombie pushes him back against the cage.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Zombie escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Brown throws a nice looking combination but Zombie bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Zombie throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Zombie ducks under a wild hook from Brown.
Zombie looks to land a combination but Brown avoids it well.
Brown scores with a nice right hand.

Zombie throws a nice looking combination but Brown bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Brown tries to close the distance and clinch up but Zombie swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Zombie counters with a crisp one two that drops Brown! Zombie thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Brown to his feet! Brown is in big trouble!

Brown is rocked!

Zombie ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Brown closes the distance but Zombie moves to the side
and Zombie counters with a left and a right... And another left! Brown is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
