Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Edward Keller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Edward Keller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyler takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Tyler tries to clinch there but Keller circles away.
Tyler shoots in for a double leg but Keller sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Tyler forces Keller back against the cage and clinches.
Keller goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Tyler.
Tyler is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Keller gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Keller stalls.
Tyler has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Keller breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Keller moves into range and clinches up with Tyler.
Tyler tries for a takedown but Keller manages to get underhooks.
Edward Keller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Tyler.
Keller keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Tyler's efforts to push away.
Keller tries to pull guard but Tyler won't allow it.

Keller will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Tyler up against the cage.
Tyler pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Tyler feints and as Keller raises his hands in defense, Tyler changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Tyler wants to control from the top but Keller keeps moving.

Keller looking for a guillotine here but Tyler defends easily.
Tyler works over Keller with some ground and pound from guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Keller is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Tyler defends well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tyler wants to control from the top but Keller keeps moving.

Keller bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tyler's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tyler seems keen to control Keller's posture.
Keller won't allow Tyler to sweep him here.
Keller postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Tyler is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Keller, into his guard.
Tyler is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Tyler got a little sloppy there for a moment and Keller has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tyler has managed to get both his arms back between Keller's legs - danger averted.
Tyler decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Keller, up you get!
Keller doesn't manage to clinch there - Tyler circles away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Tyler has his takedown stuffed
and Keller counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Keller moves into the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jim Tyler will probably get the nod.

Keller shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tyler as he avoids it easily.
Keller really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Keller fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Keller shoots in and bounces Tyler off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Tyler is pulling down on Keller's head. It's preventing any offense from Keller, at least for the moment.

Tyler looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Keller is fending him off so far but Tyler persists. Nope, Keller circles away and we're back to standing.

Keller feints and as Tyler raises his hands in defense, Keller changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Tyler is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Keller drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Tyler manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Keller has Tyler in his guard.

Keller is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Tyler frees his head nicely. Oh but Keller has switched to an armbar! Tyler is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
