The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos thows a leg kick but Louis checks it
and Louis connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Louis connects with a nice looking jab.

Louis moves into the clinch.
Santos is trying to pull guard but Louis has him pressed against the cage.
Louis scores with a hook to the body.
Louis lands a hook to the side of the head.
A nice right hand lands inside from Louis.
Louis stops a takedown attempt from Santos.
Louis lands a right hand that snaps the head of Santos backwards.

Louis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A solid leg kick lands there for Louis.
Louis scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Louis keeps Santos at a distance using the push kick.
Santos has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Louis.

Santos changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Louis tries to avoid it but Santos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Louis to the ground. Louis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Santos drops his hands momentarily and Louis takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Santos misses with a series of wild punches.
Louis scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Santos. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Louis stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Louis.

Louis clinches with his opponent.

Louis digs a right hand underneath Santos's ribcage. Santos let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Louis lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Louis lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Oh Santos is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Louis lands an uppercut.
Louis pushes Santos against the cage. Louis is working some dirty boxing. Louis pushes off with a quick right hook! Santos goes down! Santos tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Louis moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
