The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faresi tries to clinch up but Perez circles away and keeps his distance.
A clash of legs there as Faresi blocks the low kick.
Faresi throws a head kick but Perez moves out of range.
Perez swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Perez throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Faresi sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A jab lands there for Perez.
Perez throws a jab but it's blocked by Faresi.
Perez waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Faresi.
Perez throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Faresi tries a head kick but it misses.
A jab from Perez does it's job there.
Perez jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Faresi fails with an attempt to clinch.
Perez swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Faresi wants to clinch up but Perez keeps it at a distance.
Faresi tries a head kick but it misses.
Perez throws a front kick aimed at Faresi's knee but Faresi avoids it well.
Perez ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Perez scores with a jab to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Perez throws a lazy right hand but Faresi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Faresi takes a swing at Perez's ribcage but misses.
Perez slips a jab and a cross from Faresi.
Faresi misses with a kick to the body.
Faresi fails with an attempt to clinch.

Faresi pushes Perez up against the cage in a clinch.
Perez lands a nice uppercut.
Faresi tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Faresi looking to throw knees to the head but Perez is blocking nicely.
Faresi wants to get back to striking at distance but Perez won't allow it.
Perez misses with a knee strike.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Perez.

Perez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Perez misses with a looping left.
Perez swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Faresi.

Faresi is rocked!
Faresi leaves his chin hanging out and Perez seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Faresi crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
