PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bill Timmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alessandro D Angelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Timmons kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Diamond Eyes. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
D Angelo takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
D Angelo takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
A punch combination from D Angelo misses.
Timmons throws a body punch but D Angelo moves out of range.
D Angelo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Timmons scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Timmons connects with a nice short shot to D Angelo's temple.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Timmons is nestled in close to D Angelo, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Timmons is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! D Angelo is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
