The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayhem scores with a punch to the head.
Opp misses with the combination.
Opp tries to move into range but Mayhem moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Mayhem throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Opp was covering up waiting for the punch and Mayhem finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Mayhem must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Mayhem works over Opp with some ground and pound from guard.

Mayhem loads up on a big right hand but Opp slips the punch.
Maui Mayhem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Opp throws a shot to the body.
Opp fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mayhem manages to avoid it.

Mayhem with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Opp to score with a decent uppercut.
Opp throws a lazy right hand but Mayhem sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Mayhem wants to control from the top but Opp keeps moving.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A close round but Maui Mayhem will probably get the nod.
That's time! Opp's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Mayhem tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Opp was well out of range. Poor timing from Mayhem.
Opp takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Opp looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mayhem digs a good hook to Opp's body.

Mayhem bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Mayhem looks up at the clock and then as Opp takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Mayhem smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Mayhem is staying tight to Opp's torso, preventing him from escaping.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Opp manages to work his way to half guard, despite Mayhem's best efforts.
Mayhem is stalling here. Opp is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Mayhem seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Opp has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Opp lands with a nice body punch.
Opp ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Opp closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Mayhem slips under a jab.
Opp fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mayhem tries to score a power double leg takedown but Opp sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mayhem somewhat.
Opp misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Opp, as that shot connected.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Opp ducks under a wild hook from Mayhem.
Holda Opp is winning the standup battle so far.
Mayhem keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Mayhem feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
