Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zew Whoosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Mendes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zew Whoosh has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chad Mendes!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Roger Salmon and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendes misses with a takedown attempt - Whoosh sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Whoosh shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Whoosh showed some decent athleticism there.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
