The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis slips a jab and a cross from Frajd.
A punch combination from Frajd misses.
Davis avoids a punch combination nicely.
Davis closes this distance looking for a takedown but Frajd circles away.
Davis is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Frajd throws a head kick that misses.
Frajd fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Davis checks it well.

Frajd wants to control from the top but Davis keeps moving.

Frajd got a little sloppy there for a moment and Davis has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Frajd has managed to get both his arms back between Davis's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Frajd stays in close to Davis's body and controls the position.

Davis looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Davis working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Frajd doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Frajd manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Frajd is looking to work some ground and pound but Davis has wrist control.

Frajd drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Davis dives on top into guard.

Davis is sitting in close to Frajd's body. Frajd has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Davis is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Davis is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Frajd.
