Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vicente Otubro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gill Mackey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Otubro's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Smthng 2 Die 4. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vicente Otubro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gill Mackey!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Otubro showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Mackey.
Mackey throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Otubro.
A shot to the liver by Mackey. Beautiful body shot.
Mackey throws a push kick but Otubro slaps the foot to one side.
Mackey scores with a hook to the body. Otubro takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Mackey lands a jab to the head.
Mackey misses with a body kick.
Mackey throws a right and a left that both miss.
Otubro uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mackey.
Otubro on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Otubro slips a jab and a cross from Mackey.
Otubro changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mackey tries to avoid it but Otubro manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mackey to the ground. Mackey escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Mackey tried to score with a low kick but Otubro checks it.

Mackey throws a half hearted mid kick.
Mackey dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Mackey throws a body kick that misses.
Mackey looks to land a combination but Otubro avoids it well.
Otubro takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Nice uppercut lands for Mackey. That snapped Otubro's head back.
Mackey stuns Otubro with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Otubro shoots for a takedown but Mackey saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Mackey throws a leg kick but Otubro checks it.
Otubro shoots in looking for a takedown. Mackey tries to sprawl out of it but Otubro keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mackey manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Otubro. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Mackey misses with a series of wild punches.
Mackey fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Otubro shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mackey as he avoids it easily.
Mackey throws a body kick that misses.
A punch lands to the side of Otubro 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Gill Mackey is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Otubro fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mackey avoids it really well and circles away.
Mackey lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Otubro backs up against the cage.
Mackey works Otubro's body with a nice hook.
Mackey is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Otubro rather than just go for the knockout.

Otubro gets a double leg takedown into Mackey's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Mackey looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Otubro drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Otubro jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Mackey is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Gill Mackey.
Mackey moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Mackey scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

enabling Otubro to counter with a crisp jab.
Otubro misses with a takedown attempt - Mackey sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Otubro gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Mackey connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Mackey tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Otubro is able to avoid easily.
Mackey lands a two punch combo.
Mackey tests Otubro's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Gill Mackey is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Mackey lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Otubro circles away quickly and effectively.
Mackey stuffs the takedown attempt from Otubro. Otubro gets slowly back to his feet.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Mackey, as that shot connected.

Otubro takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Mackey changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Mackey throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Mackey bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Mackey takes a swing at Otubro's ribcage but misses.
Mackey lands a jab-cross combination.
Otubro takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Mackey throws a one two combo.
Mackey throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Mackey goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Mackey's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Mackey duly obliges.

Otubro is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Otubro is fighting to break Mackey's control of his arms but Mackey is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Mackey wants to get back to his feet but Otubro is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Mackey wants to hit a switch here but Otubro passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Mackey there!

Otubro working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Mackey looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Otubro! Submission of the night perhaps?
