Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lewis Ridgeon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ridgeon's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, who let the dogs out. White is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by R.Kelly- The worlds greatest. James White has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of London, Lewis Ridgeon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, James White!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, William Gold and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ridgeon has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from White finds it's way round the side to connect with Ridgeon's head.
James White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
White fails to land with a series of punches.

Ridgeon closes the distance and pushes White back into the cage.
Ridgeon is struggling to control the position.
Ridgeon tries to land knees in the clinch but White avoids the damage to the body.

Ridgeon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A telegraphed right hand from White misses the target.
White rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ridgeon moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
White throws a jab but it's blocked by Ridgeon.
Ridgeon is looking to clinch but White is avoiding it.
White throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ridgeon sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Ridgeon tries a head kick but it misses.

Ridgeon drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ridgeon postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
White keeping moving, preventing Ridgeon from controlling successfully.
Ridgeon is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ridgeon is working White over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Ridgeon's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

White has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ridgeon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Ridgeon trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
White preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Ridgeon slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Ridgeon looks up at the clock and then as White takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Ridgeon smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
White regains half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ridgeon throwing shots but White is blocking nicely.
Ridgeon lands strikes from half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ridgeon looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Ridgeon prevents White from standing back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ridgeon works his way into side control.
Ridgeon lands a few punches from side control.
Ridgeon wants to lay and pray for a moment but White keeps working.
Ridgeon creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Ridgeon trying to control the position but White is working away.
White pushes Ridgeon away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Ridgeon gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

White explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
White lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by White.

Ridgeon darts in and clinches White up against the cage.

Ridgeon tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and White avoids it.
White has had enough of the clinch but Ridgeon keeps him there for the moment.
Ridgeon has White pressed against the cage, preventing White from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Ridgeon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
James White is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ridgeon is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Ridgeon rushes White and presses him up against the cage.
White wants to get back to striking at distance but Ridgeon won't allow it.
Ridgeon misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from White.
White is trying to force a seperation but Ridgeon has the dominant position.

Ridgeon breaks the clinch.
White misses with an uppercut. Ridgeon saw that one coming.

Ridgeon moves into range and clinches up with White.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
White can't break the clinch.

Ridgeon breaks from the clinch.
Ridgeon is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. White doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Ridgeon crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Ridgeon's bad books for that mishap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). James White!
A relieved looking James White thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
