The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dwyer has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from San finds it's way round the side to connect with Dwyer's head.
Dwyer shoots and misses

and San counters with a shoot takedown. Dwyer fights it but they end up in guard.
Dwyer working a defensive guard but San manages to pass into side control anyway.
San scores with a couple of short elbows.
San wants to control but Dwyer is keeping him busy.
Dwyer regains half guard, as San was trying to land strikes.
Dwyer wants to control the action here but instead San manages to pass to full mount!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
San avoids the attempt from Dwyer to control.

Dwyer is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
San unloading with bombs!

It looks like Sean Dwyer has been cut.
San has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Dwyer's face.

That has opened up Sean Dwyer's cut even more.
Dwyer is desperately trying to improve his position but San has a good base and remains in mount.
San looking to control and managing it successfully.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dwyer tries to lock up and control but San gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

San lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Dwyer hang on?

Dwyer wants to hold on but San pushes him away.
Dwyer takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Sean Dwyer's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Sean Dwyer's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
