Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Holly Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Tucker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sam Tucker looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tucker shoots for a takedown but Man saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Man lands a head kick!

It looks like Sam Tucker has been cut.

Tucker throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Man was covering up waiting for the punch and Tucker finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Tucker trying to control but Man is working from the bottom.
Tucker not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Man preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Man will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Tucker decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Man breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Man scores with a head kick.

Man looking for a sweep. Not yet Man, not yet.
Man wants to stand up but Tucker is controlling him.
Man really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Tucker is fighting to break Man's control of his arms but Man is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Man looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Man is trying to control the position but Tucker postures up.

We're going to have a standup here because Holly Man wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Tucker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Tucker forces Man back against the cage and clinches.

Man displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tucker.

Tucker shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Man's guard.

Tucker wants to pass the guard but Man is keeping the position.
Man tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Tucker controls from within his opponent's guard.
Man is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Tucker has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Man is proving hard to escape from.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Sam Tucker hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Tucker shoots in looking for a takedown but Man manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tucker's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Man counters with a left and a right that stings Tucker.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Man checks a leg kick.
Tucker fails in his attempt to clinch.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Man digs a good hook to Tucker's body.
Man lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Holly Man will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Tucker tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Man manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Tucker doesn't manage to clinch there - Man circles away.
Tucker is trying hard to land a takedown here. Man sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Tucker wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Man drags the fight down to the ground.
Man utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Holly Man has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sam Tucker.

Man closes the distance and clinches.

Man keeps control of Tucker as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Man manages to pull guard.
Tucker wants to stand but Man is controlling his posture from full guard.
Tucker wants to pass the guard but Man is keeping the position.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Man is looking to stand up but Tucker isn't so interested in that idea.

Man breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tucker shoots in for a takedown but Man shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Man clinches.

Man jumps into guard, dragging Tucker to the mat.
Tucker wants to control from the top but Man keeps moving.
Tucker stops Man from standing up.

Tucker controls Man momentarily but Man frees himself.
Man throws a big right hand that misses.

Man would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Man tries to clinch but Tucker is having none of it.
Holly Man is winning the standup battle so far.

Man has taken the fight to the clinch.
Tucker has had enough of the clinch but Man keeps him there for the moment.

Tucker is fighting off a takedown attempt but Man is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Tucker to the mat. Tucker regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Tucker takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Man looking to sit in guard and control but Tucker gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Sam Tucker wasn't active enough on the ground.
Horrible takedown by Tucker or perhaps it was just good defense by Man which made him look bad.

Man changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tucker looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The ground and pound from Man seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Tucker gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Tucker wants to control but Man is having none of it.
Man throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Tucker is squirming around, avoiding Man's attempts to control the action.
Tucker is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Man gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

and Man counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Tucker!
Holly Man has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sam Tucker.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tucker tries to reverse the position but Man maintains control.
Man lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Tucker tries to hold on but Man pushes him away.
Man with shots to the head and body - Tucker looks very uncomfortable down there.
Tucker can't escape the position.
Man controlling from mount.

Man is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Tucker to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Tucker shrugs it off.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Holly Man showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Man has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
