Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Wes Weddle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Bova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Weddle comes to the cage accompanied by remember the name - fort minor. Bova is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: I came to bring the pain!. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bova shoots in for a takedown but Weddle shows good takedown defense.
Weddle connects with a single shot there.
Weddle stuffs the takedown.
Weddle fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Weddle waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bova.
Weddle swings away with a body shot that misses

and Bova counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Weddle!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Weddle lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Bova is trying to break free.

Weddle is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Bova is defending well though. Weddle let's go of the attempt for now.

Weddle cracks Bova with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Bova from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Weddle has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Bova! Can he survive? No! He's out! Weddle gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
