The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tatum stuffs the takedown attempt from Quinn. Quinn gets slowly back to his feet.
Drederick Tatum seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tatum misses with a two punch combination.

Quinn decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Quinn shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tatum but Tatum pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Some wild striking there from Tatum.
Quinn will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Drederick Tatum has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cyrus Quinn.

It looks like Cyrus Quinn has been cut.
Tatum fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Tatum throws a looping overhand right but Quinn ducks down to avoid it.
Quinn keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Quinn shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tatum pinned against the cage. Tatum gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Tatum cracks Quinn with an uppercut from hell and Quinn crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Tatum's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Quinn is rocked!
Tatum wants to pass the guard but Quinn is keeping the position.
Quinn is still in real trouble! Can Tatum finish him?
Quinn is trying to hold Tatum in close to prevent damage but Tatum has managed to pass into half guard.
Quinn is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Quinn seems to have recovered his senses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Quinn is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Quinn is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Quinn has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Tatum has passed into side control.

Tatum decides to stand back up. Tatum steps back and let's Quinn get back to his feet.

Tatum thows a body kick. Quinn tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Tatum misses with a jab, cross combination.
Tatum closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Tatum misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Quinn.
A head kick misses from Tatum.
Tatum walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Quinn drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Tatum swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Quinn's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
