Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Waylon Crowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos misses the jab.
Santos misses with a combination
and Crowe counters with a body kick.
Santos swings for the body but Crowe moves out of range.
Santos throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Crowe.
A nice inside leg kick there by Crowe. That's going to slow Santos down.
Crowe fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Santos has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Crowe throws a hook but Santos avoids it easily.
Santos misses with a wild combination.
Crowe thuds his shin into the meat of Santos's side.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A decent looking body kick lands there for Crowe.
Santos looks gassed!
Santos takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Crowe throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Santos takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Crowe lands a big head kick that sends Santos tumbling to the mat! Crowe takes a step backwards and waves Santos back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Santos is rocked!

It looks like Jimmy Santos has been cut.
Crowe is stalking Santos. Santos circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Crowe, and it's lights out! Santos really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

After the fight, Waylon Crowe was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
