PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mitsuakii Inose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Sakaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sakaro gets tackled into the cage by Inose. Inose maintains the clinch.
A bit of stalling here from Sakaro.

Sakaro's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sakaro displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Inose.
Sakaro will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Inose misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Inose creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Sakaro's defenses.

Sakaro misses with a takedown attempt - Inose sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Inose looks for a takedown but Sakaro sprawls well.

Sakaro misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Inose.
Inose has a couple of punches blocked by Sakaro.

Inose is trying to pull guard but Sakaro has him pressed against the cage.

Sakaro pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Sakaro closes this distance looking for a takedown but Inose circles away.

Sakaro is trying to drag Inose to the mat but Inose just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Sakaro shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Inose but Inose pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Inose throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sakaro's waist but Sakaro gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Inose off to one side.
Inose tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Inose misses with a double jab.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Sakaro clinches up against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mitsuakii Inose will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Inose lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sakaro!
Sakaro wants to control but Inose is having none of it.

Inose is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Sakaro to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Sakaro shrugs it off.
Sakaro tries to control Inose's body but Inose pushes him off. Sakaro squirms to his side and now Inose has his back!
Sakaro tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Inose looking to control but Sakaro is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Inose avoids the attempt from Sakaro to control.
Sakaro keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Inose wants to control the pace but Sakaro is squirming around nicely.
Sakaro wants to hold on but Inose pushes him away.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mitsuakii Inose.
I think Inose has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
