Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yonasu Yamazaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Waka Lomuh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yamazaki comes to the cage accompanied by Vangelis - conquest of paradise . Yonasu Yamazaki has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shigeki Fujiwara and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lomuh is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Yamazaki's half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Lomuh seems to be working for a kimura but Yamazaki defends the submission attempt.
Lomuh looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Waka Lomuh.

Yamazaki gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Lomuh ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Lomuh no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Lomuh manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Yamazaki manages to get himself to full guard.
Lomuh is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Yamazaki could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Waka Lomuh.
Lomuh fails in his attempt to clinch.
Yamazaki defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lomuh.
Lomuh shoots for a double leg takedown but Yamazaki sprawls well. He's pushed Lomuh's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Yamazaki misses with a wild combination.

Lomuh tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Yamazaki rushes Lomuh and presses him up against the cage.
Nice body punch from Yamazaki - that landed with a thud.

Yamazaki breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lomuh shoots for a takedown but Yamazaki saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Yonasu Yamazaki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Waka Lomuh.

Lomuh shoots in and bounces Yamazaki off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Lomuh wants to control from the top but Yamazaki keeps moving.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Waka Lomuh wasn't active enough on the ground.

Lomuh drives through and clinches with Yamazaki against the cage.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Lomuh is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Yamazaki has his hands clasped together but Lomuh extends an breaks Yamazaki's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Lomuh.
