Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Abdul Mohammed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Widaca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mohammed comes to the cage accompanied by M.I.A - Paper Planes. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Widaca is looking to clinch.
Widaca throws a jab but it's blocked by Mohammed.
Mohammed changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Widaca tries to avoid it but Mohammed manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Widaca to the ground. Widaca escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mohammed keeps the fight on the outside.
Widaca tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mohammed swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Widaca throws a hook but Mohammed blocks it.
Mohammed throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mohammed connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Mohammed gets a takedown into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Widaca can do anything to dispel that myth.
Mohammed is taking a breather. Widaca says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Widaca is trying to maintain the position but Mohammed is very close to passing his half guard.

Mohammed is looking to take a break and control but Widaca is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Widaca is looking to reverse the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
You can see the frustration on Widaca's face as Mohammed controls the position.

We're going to have a standup here because Abdul Mohammed wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Mohammed wants to control the pace but Widaca is squirming around nicely.

Mohammed lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Mohammed pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Mohammed postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Widaca badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Mohammed around the waist but Mohammed pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Mohammed is the winner by TKO! Mohammed jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Abdul Mohammed!
Abdul Mohammed spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
