PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rogerio Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Electric Dream Machine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rogerio Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Electric Dream Machine!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Columbo Gatti and Chad Campbell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dream Machine moves in looking to clinch but Gracie pushes him off.
Dream Machine tries to clinch but Gracie is having none of it.
Dream Machine tries to clinch but Gracie is having none of it.
Gracie misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Gracie scores a takedown into full mount!

Gracie goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Dream Machine is on top in guard.
Gracie could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Gracie manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dream Machine manages to get himself to full guard.

Dream Machine is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Dream Machine keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully.
Gracie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dream Machine swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Gracie wants to control from the top but Dream Machine keeps moving.

Gracie postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Dream Machine is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gracie, into his guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Gracie looking for a guillotine here but Dream Machine defends easily.
Dream Machine wanted to stand there but Gracie had control of the position.

Gracie throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Dream Machine escapes and throws Gracie's legs to the side, diving into side control!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gracie is looking to reverse the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
You can see the frustration on Gracie's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Gracie tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dream Machine wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Gracie tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Dream Machine presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Gracie tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Dream Machine is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Gracie throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Gracie swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Dream Machine ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gracie moves away.
Gracie keeps the fight on the outside.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dream Machine seems to be stalking Gracie here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Gracie drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
