Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Put Down (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Homer Wu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Wu's choice of entrance music: I'm a Thug - Y.G. ft. Meek Miller. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wu fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Down to the ground. Wu is now in Down's guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Homer Wu wasn't active enough on the ground.

Wu tries to sprawl but Down drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Wu is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Down defends well.
Down has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wu escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Down gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Down gets to his feet. Wu looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Down throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wu was covering up waiting for the punch and Down finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Wu escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Down gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Down postures up in Wu's guard and throws a big left but Wu blocks it.

Wu is looking for a triangle but Down pushes his legs off easily.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Down lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Down shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Wu napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Down decides to stand back up. Down steps back and let's Wu get back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Down working over Wu with some ground and pound. Wu looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Wu is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Down is aware though and is defending well.

Down would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Down is sitting in close to Wu's body. Wu has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Down is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Down is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Wu.
