Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Troy Slamen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jax Morrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slamen comes to the cage accompanied by Jaws Theme. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Troy Slamen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jax Morrow!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slamen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Morrow tries to avoid it but Slamen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Morrow to the ground. Morrow escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Slamen misses with a takedown attempt - Morrow sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Slamen takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Slamen shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Slamen was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Slamen landing strikes from the mount and Morrow is in trouble!
Slamen fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Morrow tries to reverse the position but Slamen maintains control.
Slamen throws some wild stikes that Morrow manages to avoid easily.
Slamen avoids the attempt from Morrow to control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Morrow is looking to improve his position but Slamen isn't that keen on the idea.
Slamen breaks from Morrow's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Morrow is squirming around, avoiding Slamen's attempts to control the action.
Morrow taking shots to the head.
Slamen sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Slamen lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Morrow hang on?
Slamen trying to control but Morrow is having none of it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Slamen is landing with some decent strikes but Morrow is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
BOOM! Slamen connects with a massive shot to the dome!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Morrow takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Slamen's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
