Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mick Maurizio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Herer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Maurizio might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mechina: Empyrean. Mick Maurizio has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Mauricio Rocha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herer swats away the attempt to clinch by Maurizio.
Maurizio shoots in and gets a takedown into Herer's guard.
Maurizio might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Herer lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Maurizio!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Herer cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Maurizio shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Herer as he jumps to the side.

Maurizio looks for a takedown but Herer sprawls well.

Herer lands with a kick to the temple. Maurizio shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Herer connects with a leg kick. Maurizio looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Herer pushes Maurizio off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Maurizio feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Herer has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Maurizio off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Maurizio's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Herer connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Maurizio scrambles back to his feet.

Herer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Herer wants it to stay on the feet.
Herer fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Maurizio has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Maurizio tries to bum rush Herer with a series of wild strikes but Herer uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Herer throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Maurizio is rocked!

Oh Maurizio is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Maurizio throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Herer to counter with a crisp jab.
Herer stuffs the takedown attempt from Maurizio. Maurizio gets slowly back to his feet.
Herer throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Maurizio stumbling backwards into the cage! Maurizio bounces back off the cage towards Herer, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Herer lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Herer celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jack Herer!
Jack Herer tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
