Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Steven Park (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Powers has chosen Californication as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Powers moves into the clinch.
Park tries to break the clinch but Powers is controlling the position.
Powers digs a right hand underneath Park's ribcage. Park let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Park has a couple of punches blocked by Powers.

Park wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Powers fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Park has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Park's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Let's hope that Powers has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well Powers has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
