Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chang Sung Jung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody A Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chang Sung Jung!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cody A Miller!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Miller throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Jung's head.
Jung fails with a takedown attempt.
Jung swings for the body but Miller moves out of range.
Miller fails with an attempt to clinch.
Miller connects with a high kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Jung scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Jung wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Miller, who protects the arm well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Miller is not content to let Jung control the position.
Miller wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
Miller takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jung is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Miller is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Jung in side control lands a decent elbow.
Miller tries to improve position but can't.
Jung trying to control the action but Miller is working from the bottom.
Miller is looking to reverse the position.
Miller prevents Jung from improving position.
You can see the frustration on Miller's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Miller wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Miller is trying to strike from the bottom but Jung has passed into full mount.
Jung wants to control the pace but Miller is squirming around nicely.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Miller tries to lock up and control but Jung gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Miller wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Jung thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Jung is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Miller keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Miller tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Miller lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Miller blocks a head kick by Jung.
Miller plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Jung avoids the head kick by Miller.
Jung misses with a leg kick.
Jung shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chang Sung Jung. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Miller tries to clinch but Jung moves away
and Jung counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Jung closes the distance and clinches up with Miller, looking for a takedown. Jung pushes Miller against the cage but Miller circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Miller displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jung throws out the jab.
Miller throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nice sprawl there from Miller as Jung shoots in.
Jung is breathing heavily.

Jung instigates a clinch.
Miller comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Miller looking to throw knees to the head but Jung is blocking nicely.
Miller tries to pull guard but Jung holds him up against the cage and eventually Miller drops back down to his feet.
Miller prevents Jung from breaking the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jung can't break the clinch.
Miller with a knee to the head.
Miller misses with a knee to the head.
Jung is trying to force a seperation but Miller has the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Chang Sung Jung will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Miller closes the distance and clinches.
Miller lands a good knee to the midsection. Jung won't want to take too many of those.

Miller breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jung will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jung avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jung stuffs the takedown.

Jung shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Miller is trying to escape the mount.

Jung stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Miller shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Miller doesn't manage to clinch there - Jung circles away.

Miller stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Miller wants it to stay on the feet.
Jung lands a nice looking body shot.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Miller wants to clinch up but Jung keeps it at a distance.
Cody A Miller seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Miller tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jung paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Miller gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Jung wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Miller has him pressed against the cage.
Miller landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Miller jumps guard and drags Jung to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Jung missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Miller pushes Jung off and gets back to his feet.
Jung misses with an attempted mid kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Miller fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jung sprawls well initially but Miller persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Miller is looking to take a break and control but Jung is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Miller prevents Jung from improving his position.
Jung gets full guard.

Jung wants to control but Miller passes easily into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jung is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Jung keeping control of the position.
Miller keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Jung is trying to maintain the position but Miller is very close to passing his half guard.

Miller landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Miller seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Jung tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Miller has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Cody A Miller showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Jung throws the kick towards the body but Miller avoids it.
Jung throws a nice looking combination but Miller bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Miller tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jung paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Miller takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Jung looks to score with a jab to the body but Miller is just out of range.
Jung fails to land the takedown.
Jung misses with the combination.
Miller moves in looking to clinch but Jung pushes him off.
Horrible takedown by Jung or perhaps it was just good defense by Miller which made him look bad.
Miller goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Jung takes the fight into the clinch.
Miller is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Miller looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Miller pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Miller tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jung sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Miller somewhat.
Miller is looking to clinch.

Miller moves into the clinch successfully.

Jung pulls guard.
Jung keeping moving, preventing Miller from controlling successfully.
Jung wants to sweep here but Miller controlling him for the moment.
Miller looking to pass the guard.

Miller engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Jung controls Miller momentarily but Miller frees himself.
Miller trying to control the position from guard on top but Jung is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Cody A Miller.

Miller throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Jung.

Chang Sung Jung is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Miller throws a right hand that Jung ducks under and follows up with a left that Jung also avoids with ease.
Miller fails with an attempt to clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Miller looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Miller wants to clinch up but Jung keeps it at a distance.

Jung looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Jung throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Miller was covering up waiting for the punch and Jung finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Miller is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

I would just about give that final round to Cody A Miller.
I think Miller has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
